We're back in the Underworld franchise with the prequel Underworld: Rise of the Lycans from director Patrick Tatopolous, which explains the origin of Lycan leader Lucian (Martin Sheen), set against the backdrop of his doomed romance with vampire Sonya (Rhona Mitra) and a Lycan rebellion...

We take to the skies for the Netflix action horror film Blood Red Sky, directed by Peter Thorwarth, which finds a terminally ill German woman travelling across the Atlantic for life-saving treatment with her son, only to find their flight taken over by terrorists. But, unfortunately for the hijackers, her symptoms include drinking human blood... And back to help us dissect this movie is Ghoulfriends podcaster Lindsay Drysdale...

[10x3] It's been a long time coming, but we're finally watching 2010's 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, the direct-to-video sequel to the 2007 movie.
